Stroll along Sweden’s oldest pedestrian street – Kullagatan. Look in the shops and take a break with a coffee at one of the cozy cafés in the centre or a lunch around the picturesque Mariatorget. The Söder district offers alternative, odd, and trendy shops. Here you will also find the market on Gustav Adolf’s square which sells everything from fruit and vegetables to spices and flowers.
Kullagatan, which opens onto Stortorget, is Sweden’s oldest pedestrian street. For the shopping enthusiast, there is everything from local shops to large fashion chains. On Stortorget you will also find the Terrace Steps that lead you up to the park Slottshagen where the medieval watchtower Kärnan is located.
